Boston Harp Studio offers harp and piano lessons for students of all ages across the Greater Boston area, including Boston, Belmont, Waltham, Arlington, Cambridge, and Somerville. The studio provides personalized instruction designed to build strong technical foundations while fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong connection to music.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether they are beginning their musical journey, returning to music later in life, or pursuing advanced study for auditions, ensembles, or performance opportunities. The focus is always on developing musicianship in a way that feels engaging, structured, and sustainable.
Meet Ting Sung
Boston Harp Studio is led by Ting Sung, a harpist, pianist, and educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. She has taught at Phillips Academy Andover, the New School of Music, and other institutions in the Greater Boston area.
Ting holds degrees in Music Performance from New York University (BA) and Boston University (MA). She has also studied with internationally recognized harpists including Jessica Zhou, June Han, Rita Costanzi, and Bridget Kibbey.
As a performer, she brings experience across both classical and contemporary repertoire, which informs a practical and expressive approach to teaching. Her work emphasizes building strong fundamentals while helping students develop their own musical voice.
